Volume 2. This volume covers the south and west of the county and includes areas, such as Barnet and Elstree, that are now within greater London. It also includes a detailed account of the city and cathedral of St Albans.
Volume 3. Covers the northern and eastern parts of the county, including accounts of Baldock, Bishop's Stortford, Hitchin and Letchworth, as well as the county town of Hertford.
Volume 4. A part-volume describing the religious houses of the county, including the Abbey of St Albans.
