The children landed in Maryland where Henry remained. While living in Maryland, in 1777, he enlisted in the Revolutionary Army. He married the widow Temperance Armistead (or Armstrong) Robinson, ca. 1781. They had nine children. He received a patent for land in Rockingham Co., Virginia, in 1788, where he died, ca. 1829. Descendants lived in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and elsewhere. Includes the Pickering and other related families
