Usage Tips

This RootsWeb-hosted site is a very large family tree (71,000 names). Focus is on the Fannin/Fanning/Fannon surname. Much of the information came from books written by Gerland Hay, Sr. Dave Dollard (now deceased) linked a lot of Gerland's information together with information contributed from other Fannin/Fanning/Fannon genealogists and put it on the web. James Fannin now updates and manages the tree. Tree is sorted by generations and does provide info on sources. Earliest generations are generally from Virginia or Kentucky, or are from England or Wales.
