Matz Ancestry: Lineage of Lorentz Matz the Immigrant - Descendants and Related Families. S.E. Kantner, 1987. This 300 page book on the descendants of Lorentz and Barbara Matz of Wankheim, Germany from the 17th century, was written from information obtained by Miss Anna Matz (1894-1979) from the early 1940s through the 1970s, with 10 more years of detailed follow-up research conducted by the author. It contains the names of over 6000 individuals connected to the Matz descendancy, most of whom find their roots in the Berks County region of Pennsylvania after the 1750s. Only about 200 copies of this book were printed.
