Usage Tips

Actually written before 1682, but not published until the Massachusetts Historical Society did so in 1815. Some portions of the manuscript were damaged before the 1815 transcription. There was a 2nd edition created in 1878, reflecting both additional corrective notes and the obtaining of an earlier (pre 1815) transcription by Judge Oliver. Microfilm of a 1972 reprint by Arno Press of what appears to be the 1878 edition may be ordered through the nearest Family History Center. Copies of both editions are available from Google Books and the Internet Archive.
