Usage Tips

John Hollis was born in 1820 in Pennsylvania. He married Charlotte Clawson (1820-1853), daughter of Richard Clawson and Nancy Donahey, in about 1846. They had three children. His brother, Jacob Hollis, was born 9 July 1826 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He married Nancy Kelly (1836-1914), daughter of Archibald Kelly and Mary Clawson, 29 November 1855. They had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.

Includes Allore, Castin, Crawford, George, Repine, Zimmerman and related families.
