This publication may have been indexed incorrectly. Grafton is in the parish of Marton cum Grafton in the what was the West Riding of Yorkshire and is now in the North Riding. The nearest town of any size is Boroughbridge. Grindale (earlier named Grindall) is in the East Riding quite close to Bridlington. I have checked maps and gazetteers and not found any reference of a manor in Grafton with Grindall in the name or vice versa.
