Wilhelmus Beekman (1623-1707), son of Hendrick, immigrated in 1647 from The Netherlands to New Amsterdam, New York, and married Catalina De Boog. They later moved to Kingston, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere.

Includes Arden, Denmark, Hoogteling, Schermerhorn, Swart, Whittaker and related families.
