Description

A very thorough history of the Clan, with detailed chapters covering each branch of the clan, and each laird in each branch. It is rich in genealogical detail, with family tree charts for each clan branch included (which is very helpful, because the successions were often not neatly linear), and maps. An Appendix includes a complete transcription of the Broughdearg Manuscript of 1733, which is one of the fundamental sources for the clan genealogy.
