[edit] Usage TipsCatalog description: John I. Nelson (1654-1734) immigrated in 1680 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, and married Elizabeth Tailer. He was captured by the French in Quebec, Canada in 1691, and transported to Paris to be held prisoner in the Bastille. By 1705 he was back in Boston. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York and elsewhere. Includes two generations of ancestors in England.
