This is an online database (with an index and with record images) that includes the images and information found in:

• Source:Delaware, United States. Birth Records, Prior 1913 (1861-1912) - 1923: Original records from the Hall of Records in Dover, Delaware
• Source:Delaware, United States. Birth Records, 1861-1913: Original records from the Hall of Records in Dover, Delaware. These are quarterly returns.

The two sources used to create the online are microfilm collections. Records prior to 1913 are considered incomplete, as Delaware did not require the official recording of vital records with the state until 1913.
