  • 1017022 Item 10 (1955 edition) - "John [sic] Cox was probably born in London, England and immigrated to New Castle Co., Delaware during or before 1708. He was a Quaker, and appeared in the Quaker Church records in Chester and York Counties, Pennsylvania "shortly thereafter..."
  • 1573502 Item 9 (1975 edition) - "Joseph Cox was born in 1789 in Virginia. His parents were Solomon Cox and Martha or Mary Dixon. He married Amy Baker (1792-1855) 15 September 1808 in Chillicothe, Ohio. They had eleven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Missouri and Texas."
