The "state" dropdown menu available on the search page for Memorials includes United States states and territories as well as continents (Asia, for instance), countries (e.g. Australia) and regions (e.g. Central America), suggesting that this might be a global resource. Statistics on the number and distribution of Memorials are not available on the site as of October 2008. Attempts to find the site's "sample memorials" via the search interface has not been successful (October 2008).
