"Colonial Records of Pennsylvania" is the collection title and not the actual title of any of the collection content. Volumes 1 through 10 have the generic title of "Minutes of the Provincial Council of Pennsylvania from the organization to the termination of the proprietary government"; volumes 11 through 16 have the generic title "Minutes of the Supreme Executive Council of Pennsylvania from its organization to the termination of the revolution".

Two volumes of the work, 1 and 4, are available online via FamilySearch. Volume 1 covers years 1683 to 1700; volume 4 covers 1736 to 1745.
