The St. Augustine Historical Society is the oldest continuously operating museum and historical society in Florida. The Research Library is located at 6 Artillery Lane on the corner of Aviles Street and Artillery Lane - one block south of the main downtown plaza. Library hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and the third Saturday of the month, 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Fees: Entry to the Research Library is free to everyone, but we do charge fees for services provided to patrons. Xerographic copies are $.50 per page, and copies from microfilm are $1.00 per page. Research conducted by library staff is billed at $25.00 per hour.
