The Douglas County Historical Society’s Research Library provides a friendly atmosphere for the novice researcher and the experienced genealogist. Our knowledgeable and experienced research volunteers can get you started on all your needs. You can do the work, or we can do the work for you!

Office Hours: 8:30 to 4:30 Monday – Friday

Public Research Center: Monday thru Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm

Guided House Tours: Monday thru Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm

   Guided Tour Admission $2.00 per person.
   Schedule group tours and special events in advance.
   Contact DCHS for details.
   Guided tours of Douglas County also available.
