Place talk:Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Carleton, Ontario, Canada

Changing the sort sequence on Category [25 September 2014]

I don't agree with including the city name in front of the cemetery name, although I think I understand why you did it.

If I were going to a Cemetery Category to find a specific cemetery, I would first look under the letter for the first word in the cemetery name. For example, I would expect to find Beechwood under "B."

By adding Ottawa to the sort sequence, you facilitate finding all cemeteries in Ottawa, but in my mind it is not intuitive to look under the city or other geographic area for a given cemetery. Ctrl F can always be used to find all cemeteries in the place Ottawa, or you can go to the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada place where the cemeteries will be listed.

I hope you accept this in the spirit it is written. I'm trying to think like an inexperienced user.
