Yaxham is a village and civil parish in the centre of the English county of Norfolk. The parish includes the village of Yaxham, together with the neighbouring community of Clint Green. Together, they are located some 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Dereham and 20 miles (32 km) west of Norwich.

The civil parish has an area of 6.64 km2 (2.56 sq mi) and in the 2001 UK census had a population of 677 in 290 households, the population increasing to 722 in 340 households at the 2011 UK census. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the District of Breckland.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Yaxham from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:

"YAXHAM, a parish, with a village, in Mitford registration] district, Norfolk; on the Wymondham and Dereham railway, 2 miles SSE of East Dereham. It has a post-office under Thetford, and a [railway] station. Acres: 1,596. Real property: £3,868. Population: 479. Houses: 80. The property is much subdivided. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich. Value: £500. Patron: the Rev. W. Johnson. The church is good; and there are a national school, and charities £4 and 20 acres of fuel allotment.
