Willerby (near Hull) is now a village and civil parish located on the western outskirts of the city of Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England.


Willerby was a minor settlement up to the 20th century, during which it became a suburb of Hull, and its urban development extended south-eastwards towards the city. The village centre is located about 5 miles (8 km) west of Kingston upon Hull city centre and lies outside the city boundary.

Willerby was originally a township in both the ecclesiastical parishes of Cottingham in the Harthill wapentake and Kirk Ella in the Hullshire wapentake.

In 1866 it was made a civil parish and became part of Sculcoates Rural District between 1894 and 1935. On the abolition of Sculcoates Rural District in 1935 it was absorbed into Skidby parish which was in the Beverley Rural District.
