Whissonsett is a village and a civil parish in Norfolk, England. The village is 5.0 miles (8.0 km) south of Fakenham, 23 miles (37 km) west-northwest of Norwich and 112 miles (180 km) north-northeast of London. The nearest railway station is at King's Lynn for the Fen Line which runs between King's Lynn and Cambridge.

The parish had a population of 483 in 206 households in the 2001 UK census, increasing to a population of 488 in 209 households at the 2011 UK census. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Breckland. The village lies close to the source of the River Wensum.
