NOTE: There are two parishes and a number of settlements in Shropshire, England with the word Weston in their title.
The parishes were Cold Weston near Ludlow in the south of the county, Weston under Redcastle in the north of the county and once a chapelry under Hodnet.
The townships and chapelries identified are Weston (Burford) in Burford parish, Weston (Stowe) in Stowe parish, Weston Cotton in Oswestry parish, Weston Lullingfield in Baschurch parish and Weston Rhyn in St. Martin's parish.
With the exception of Cold Weston and Weston (Stowe), most of these places are in the north of the county.
