Royalton is a small community located not far east of the New Brunswick-Maine border, 3.16 km southwest of Knoxford in Wicklow Parish, Carleton County. It had a post office from 1877 until 1914. In 1898 Royalton was a farming settlement with 1 church and a population of 150. (Source:Place Names of New Brunswick)
Upper Royalton is another small settlement to the north, about twice as far from Royalton as the international border is to the west. There is also Lower Royalton to the south.
