Founded in 1828, the Cemetery at the University of Virginia has served as the final resting place for many of the most prominent figures of the University. The Columbarium wall traverses the northern boundary of the University Cemetery.

The UVA Cemetery is contiguous with the UVA Confederate Cemetery. Check there before adding a Confederate burial here.
