Pelynt (Cornish: Pluwnennys, Pluwnonna) is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England. It is situated 20 miles (32 km) west of Plymouth and four miles (6.5 km) west-northwest of Looe. Pelynt had a population of 1,124 in the 2001 UK census. Pelynt includes the hamlet of Trelawne. Pelynt was part of the Liskeard Rural District from 1894 until 1974.
