The Mythe was an extra-parochial area within Sparkenhoe Hundred in Leicestershire, England. It became part of Atherstone Registration District and Poor Law Union, but by 1861 it had disappeared.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of The Mythe from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales

"MYTHE, an extra-parochial tract in the [registration] district of Atherstone and county of Leicester; on the river Anker, 6½ miles S W of Market-Bosworth. Acres: 170. Real property: £484. Population: 42."

The location is that of Mythe Farm, as marked on the OS First Series map. Additional information about this locality is available for Sheepy Magna. Mythe Farm is now a conference and wedding venue. There is another mention of The Mythe in the Wikipedia article River Sence
