Terregles is a dormitory village for Dumfries, lying 2 miles (3 km) to the northwest. The parish church incorporates the burial aisle (1588) of Agnes, Lady Herries and nearby once stood Terregles House, built for William Constable-Maxwell in 1789 and demolished in 1964.

Terregles Village was located in the parish of Terregles in the former County of Kirkcudbrightshire in southwest Scotland. This area is now part of the unitary authority called the Dumfries & Galloway Council Area.
