Tatterford is a village and former civil parish in Norfolk, England. The village is 4.8 miles southwest of the town of Fakenham, 30.3 miles northwest of Norwich and 112 miles north northeast of London. The nearest railway station is at Sheringham for the [[wikipedia:Bittern Line which runs between Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich. The parish had a population of 902 in the 2001 UK census. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the District of North Norfolk. In 1935 it was abolished as a civil parish and the land transferred to the civil parish of Tattersett.
A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Tatterford from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:
- "TATTERFORD, a parish in Walsingham [registration] district, Norfolk; 3½ miles W by S of Fakenham [railway] station. Post town: Raynham, under Brandon. Acres: 959. Real property: £1,455. Population: 70. Houses: 14. The living is a rectory, united with Tattersett, in the diocese of Norwich. Value: £685.* Patron: J. S. Chad, Esq. The church was rebuilt in 1862."
