Located behind the business (Rite-Aid drugstore) at North Tryon Street and Sugar Creek Road. It is not visible from the street or the parking lot. There is a large concrete wall and the cemetery is located behind this wall. Cemetery is locked and permission is needed to access it.

Caution: The church is named Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church, yet Find A Grave calls the cemeteries "Sugar Creek"

There are three associated cemeteries:

Cemeteries I and II are locked. You must call Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church office (704-596-4466) to ask for a tour, and a church member MUST accompany you to the grounds.

There are very few stones left standing and the ones that have survived are almost entirely unreadable due to age, general wear and tear, vandalism, or lichen growth. If Find A Grave does not show a headstone photo, then the grave marker likely no longer exists.
