A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Stonelands from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"STONELANDS, an extra-parochial tract in Witney [registration] district, Oxford; 2 miles SE of Burford. Population: 8. Houses: 2."

Despite its appearance in Wilson's Gazetteer, A Vision of Britain through Time states that Stonelands had disappeared by 1871. It may be found in censuses or church records under Witney or Shilton (which was in partly in Berkshire until 1844). (Source:Brett Langston's List of Registration Districts, provided by GENUKI)
