is a city located in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Sakaide once flourished with salt production. As of May 2017, the city has an estimated population of 52,281 and a population density of 570 persons per km2. The total area is 92.46 km2.

The city was founded on July 1, 1942. The Great Seto Bridge connects it with Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture across the Inland Sea.
