Runcorn Rural District existed in the northern part of Cheshire, England from 1894 until 1974. In 1974 it was absorbed into Warrington Metropolitan Borough (which was later made into a unitary authority).

The town of Runcorn is located at the point where the River Mersey expands out westward into its estuary. Runcorn Rural District surrounded it on the southwest, south, and around to the northeast. The map will be forthcoming.
