Ridley is a small village and former civil parish located in the Sevenoaks District in Kent. It lies between Sevenoaks and Chatham. It shares the parish of Ash with Ridley with the nearby village of Ash. Ridley parish also contained the hamlet of Hodsall or Hodsall Street (redirected here).
Ash and Ridley were formerly separate parishes. Both were part of Dartford Rural District (1894-1934) and, previous to that, parts of the Axstane Dartford and Wilmington Hundred and the Wingham Hundred. The parish was united with Ash on 1 April 1955, as part of a general revision of boundaries for parishes within Dartford Rural District.

Maps in this series are now downloadable for personal use.

- Volume 3 of the Victoria County History of Kent (published 1932) This includes the text of, and the index to, the Kent Domesday survey. It has been provided by the Kent Archaeological Society.
- In place of the other volumes of the Victoria County History, British History Online has transcriptions of the numerous volumes of The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent by Edward Hasted (originally published 1797)
