Reeth is a village west of Richmond in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England, in the civil parish of Reeth, Fremington and Healaugh. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, it is the principal settlement of upper Swaledale.

A Vision of Britain through Time states that Reeth, Fremington and Healaugh is an alternate title for the parish. It does cover the three communities.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Reeth was part of Reeth Rural District. Historically, Reeth was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Grinton in the Gilling West Wapentake.
