Rang des Bossé is located 2.24 km northeast of Moulin Morneault, on the road to Saint Joseph de Madawaska in Saint-Joseph Parish in Madawaska County, New Brunswick.

Louis Bossé, Pierre Bossé, Télésphore Bossé, Ubald Bossé, Baptiste Bossé, Maurice Bossé, Damas Bossé, Godfrois Bossé, Ignace Bossé, Paul Bossé and Joseph Bossé were early settlers here. In 1866 Bossy Settlement was a farming community with 10 families. Post Office Bossé existed 1907-1923 and 1927-1965. (Source:Place Names of New Brunswick)
