History:Dates on existing monuments indicate that the earliest burials here occurred at least by 1830. Property records show that in 1848 Thomas & Lucy Wright sold one acre of land to the Methodist Episcopal Church for the purposes of building a church and maintaining services. In 1910, the Trustees of the church signed a quit claim deed for .59 acres to Pleasant Valley Cemetery Assn. The cemetery is now maintained by Coventry Twp.
