| Location | Many channels of the River Cherwell flows through the parish. It is bounded on the north by Oxford St. Cross (Holywell), on the east by Marston, on the south by Oxford St. Clement, on the southwest by the grounds of Oxford Cathedral (Christchurch College), on the west by the parishes of St. John the Baptist and St. Mary the Virgin.
| Later History | Civil parish absorbed into the civil parish of Oxford in 1926. Ecclesiastical parish continued to exist.
