This is the original Burlingame cemetery that was established in 1855 when the town was just being founded. Most interments have been moved to the present Burlingame City cemetery, but some remain here. The cemetery is located 1.3 miles west from the center of Burlingame on K-31 and 200 yards south on private property. No headstones remain, but the 30 or so burial plots can still be seen as depressions in the earth.
