Norvell Township is a civil township of Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,963 at the 2010 census. The township is named after John Norvell, one of Michigan's first U.S. senators.

The mapping between survey townships and civil townships in the southeast corner of Jackson County is gratuitously scrambled. The core of Norvell Township is survey township T 4 S, R 2 E. But the west part of that survey township is included in Columbia Township and Napoleon Township, while Norvell Township also occupies the southeast portion of T 3 S, R 2 E.
