Norton Cuckney was the ancient or ecclesiastical parish in Bassetlaw Wapentake in Nottinghamshire, England which included the townships of Cuckney, Holbeck, Langwith (or Nether Langwith) and Norton. The four townships became separate civil parishes in 1866. (Source:A Vision of Britain through Time)
