Newton le Willows (#24 on map) is now a civil parish and a village in the Richmondshire District of North Yorkshire, England, 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Bedale. The population in the 2011 UK census was 454.
Newton le Willows used to have a railway station on the Wensleydale Railway. The station opened with the Bedale to Leyburn extension of the line in 1856. In 1877 the station was renamed as "Jervaulx" to avoid confusion with the other Newton le Willows railway station near to St Helens. The stations on the line were all closed in 1954.
There is no Anglican church in Newton le Willows. The church and graveyard at Patrick Brompton are only about a mile away across the A684 road.
Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Newton le Willows was located in Leyburn Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ancient and ecclesiastical parish of Patrick Brompton (#25), the neighbouring parish to the north, in the Hang West Wapentake.
