Newton-on-Rawcliffe is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale District of North Yorkshire, England. It is in the North York Moors National Park, 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Pickering.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Newton was located in Pickering Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Pickering in the Pickering Lythe Wapentake. It was in the Pickering Registration District.
