Murmansk Oblast (Murmanskaya oblast; Kildin Sami: Мурман е̄ммьне, Murman jemm'ne) is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia, located in the northwestern part of the country. Its administrative center is the city of Murmansk. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 795,409.
