Miller Township is one of fourteen townships in Dearborn County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 9,810 and it contained 3,651 housing units.
History
The following information is extracted from "History of Dearborn County, Indiana:Her People, Industries and Institutions, with Biographical Sketches of Representative Citizens and Genealogical Records of Old Families" by Archibald Shaw, 1915, Unigraphic, chapter 20, page 205ff:
Miller Township was organized from the northern part of Lawrenceburg Township in 1834. In the early years, lands were purchased directly from the government. The first settlers came in 1804, and the last lands were taken up in 1836.
