Place:McKenzie Cemetery, Red River, Texas, United States

Established at the site of McKenzie College (which operated 1841-1869), two miles south of Clarksville on County Road 1287, and also known locally as McKenzie College Cemetery. The earliest marked burial is that of William K. McKenzie, who was killed in a riding accident in 1848. Only 34 graves can now be located but many more burials are known to have taken place here.
