Llanrumney has been, since 1938, a district, suburb and community in the east of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. It is was originally located in the west of Monmouthshire in an area which was transferred into Glamorgan in 1938. (See also Rumney.) It had a population of 11,060 in the UK census of 2011.
