Llanllowell (Welsh: Llanllywel) is a village in Monmouthshire, Wales, two miles southeast of Usk which stands on the eastern bank of the River Usk.

The parish church is now considered dedicated to Saint Llywel. However, it was almost certainly originally dedicated to Saint Hywel.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Llanllowell from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"LLANLLOWELL, a parish in Pontypool [registration] district, Monmouth[shire]; on the river Usk, 2 miles SSE of Usk [railway] station. Post town: Usk, under Newport, Monmouth[shire]. Acres: 796. Real property: £882. Population: 87. Houses: 16. The property is much subdivided. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Llandaff. Value: £130. Patron: the Rev. F. A. Williams. The church is good."
