Llangyfelach Hundred covers the area between Neath and Swansea Hundreds. It is "pie-shaped" with a narrow sea coast. There are only three parishes, two very large.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Llangyfelach Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"LLANGYFELACH HUNDRED contains the parishes of Llangafelach, Llansamlet, and Llanguick. Acres: 48,690. Population in 1851: 11,829; in 1861: 17,923. Houses: 3,611."

GENUKI provides a map from 'Historic Parishes of England and Wales - Boundaries before 1850' to which the boundaries of the hundreds have been superimposed. Dates are those for earliest parish registers. (Full source notes for the original map on the GENUKI page.)
