Llangwm Ichaf (Upper Llangwm) was the southern of two townships of the ancient parish of Llangwm located in Usk Hundred in Monmouthshire, Wales. In the late 19th century it was made a separate civil parish and became part of Chepstow Rural District in 1894.

In 1935, in a move to reduce the number of parishes within Chepstow Rural District, Llangwm parish was revived as a civil parish and Llangwm Uchaf was one of three parishes absorbed into it.

The parish church at Llangwm Uchaf was dedicated to St. Jerome. (Source: Wikipedia) where there is quite a bit more information on the parish.
