Kirby Sigston is a village and civil parish which, since 1974, has been in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. It is approximately four miles from Northallerton. The parish contains the hamlet of Jeater Houses located due east of Kirby Sigston village on the trunk A19 road.

To the north is the site of Sigston Castle, a fourteenth-century quadrangular castle, surrounded by a now largely dry moat. South of Sigston Castle, located next to the Manor House (a British "listed building") is St. Lawrence church which is surrounded by farmland.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Kirby Sigston was located in Northallerton Rural District. Historically, it was an ancient parish in the Allerton Wapentake and included the townships of Sowerby under Cotcliffe and Winton. It was in the Northallerton Registration District.
