Kijfhoek was a municipality (gemeente) in Zuid-Holland, Netherlands from 1 Apr 1817 through 19 Aug 1857, after which it was merged into Groote Lindt.

Groote Lindt was itself merged into Zwijndrecht on 6 Sep 1881.

It has a four-tier place name referencing Zwijndrecht because it ceased to be an independent municipality (zelfstandige gemeente) before 1900 and that was the municipality it was part of at that time.
